Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay statue unveiled at DUVASU Mathura

Governor of UP Ram Naik unveiled a statue of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay at the Deendayal Upadhyay Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (DUVASU) at Mathura UP on 11th February. The High profile function was attended by the UP CM Yogi Adityanath, BJP MP Hema Malini, and host of other dignitaries.  The event was also attended by Farmers, staff members, students and renowned citizens.

Governor in his speech said that the statues are the manifestation of the ideology of the person and Pandit Deendayal was a believer of humanity. He also said that since the University is on the name of Pandit Deedayal it should have a statue of Deendayal on the campus.

 On this occasion, CM Yogi announced the opening of College of Dairy Sciences and College of Fisheries at DUVASU. Both these new colleges would start functioning from the next academic year.

In his address Vice-Chancellor of the DUVASU Prof KML Pathak invited one and all to join hands and hearts in their relentless efforts to improve the status of the DUVASU as one of the best Veterinary Universities of India.

DUVASU under the dynamic leadership of Prof KML Pathak has made great strides in the field of innovations and research. Prof Pathak’s experience at the ICAR is definitely helping in this regard.
