Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) giant AMUL has sought the intervention of Delhi High Court for removing the content on Youtube and Facebook showing the cruelty of Dairy industry of India. The content titled "Unholy Cattle of India: Exposing Cruelty in Indian Dairy Industry" has used the mascot of AMUL to allegedly expose the unholy practices adopted by the Indian Dairy Industry for the commercial production of Milk.

The Delhi High Court has asked the person who has uploaded the video to prove that the AMUL is involved in the cruelty to the cows and why he has used the AMUL mascot in the video. Court also issued notices to Facebook and the Google who run these media platform. Court, however, has reserved any interim order regarding the removal of content as sought by AMUL, as this content is available on these media platforms since 2018. Court has also sought the information whether any financial gains were obtained through these videos which could otherwise seriously tarnish the image of the Indian Milk industry in the international markets.
