Social Activist Anokhe Lal Dwivedi Nominated as Animal Welfare Officer

Animal Welfare Board of India(AWBI) functions under the administrative control of the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India under the provision of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, a Parliament Act. Anokhe Lal Dwivedi, a social activist of Bhopal city has been nominated animal welfare officer by the government to co-ordinate and support the animal welfare activities in the State. Anokhe Lal Dwivedi,  first of all, thanked the AWBI  for this honour and stated that the AWBI has sent detailed guidelines for working and coordinating the State government to monitor the animal welfare activities and controlling the matter relating to the prevention of cruelty to animals.

Dwivedi is an engineer but professionally develop himself professional writer, communicator, anchor, journalist and editor during the past 10 years of the most valuable moments of his career of writing. He did his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Master in Business Administration from reputed institutions but he decided the path of writing and communication. He has been involved with various magazines and journals as consultant editor/editorial advisor and recipient of the National Media Foundation Award, Digital Media Award and Certificate of Excellence- Digital Media Award 2021, New Delhi.

After nomination for the prestigious position of the central government, journalists and media organisations,  animal lovers, gaushala workers and environmental activists greeted him. Various writers said that it is a good effort of the central government that the social activist and writers are being honoured and awarded for such kind of position to connect with the public for the social cause.
