AMUL to sell N95 masks through its outlets in Gujarat

As the Central government has urged people to wear masks to prevent the spread of the COVID19 infection, there are several states which have made it compulsory to wear mask failing which could attract fine. Gujarat is one such state with one of the highest-burden of the COVID19 cases has decided to sell N95 masks and triple-layered masks through more than 2000 outlets of AMUL across the state. The Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani announced the decision while asserting that this move is in the best interest of the one of the worst affected state.

AMUL the brand owned by Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd has one of the highest networks of outlets across the state will sell the N95 mask at the rate of 65Rs and Triple-layered mask for 5Rs. Animal Husbandry sector has once again proved it's worth through its deep penetration in the public. The next-door outlets in every nook and corner have enabled the government to launch such schemes as the selling of masks and sanitisers at the controlled rates to the public.
