NDRI tops ICAR agricultural universities ranking

The ICAR released the rankings of its affiliated universities on 3rd  December, Friday. 3rd December is celebrated as the National Agriculture education Day on the occasion of the Birthday of the first President of India Dr Rajendra Prasad who was also the Agriculture Minister in the first cabinet. The ranking was released by the Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Kailash Choudhary. Among the 67 universities on the list, National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI), Karnal has bagged the first position in the country fifth time in a row. IARI, New Delhi, secured the second position and IVRI, Izatnagar, third. The position of various veterinary universities in this ranking is as follows.
