Deputation posts for vets at FSSAI

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) a statutory body under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Govt of India, in a circular has proposed to fill up various posts on deputation of Foreign Service terms basis. The period of deputation would be initially for three years. Further extension would be upon the performance evaluation. In case of officers already on deputation the total period of deputation including deputation at FSSAI shall not exceed seven years. Maximum age limit for the appointment shall be 56 years on the last day of receiving applications.

Posts available for deputation are Advisor(PB-4 37400-67000+ gp 10000 Rs), Deputy Director & Assistant Director (PB-3 15600-39100 + GP 5400 Rs) . For the post of Director a candidate has to be working in similar pay band (PB-4) for 5 years with a Master’s degree in Veterinary science, Agriculture science , Microbiology, Dairy Technology etc. For the posts of Deputy Director and Assistant director apart from similar qualifications candidate has to be working in the pay band (PB-3) for 5 years and 3 years respectively.
