*NPA is only for Vets working in Government Offices, not for vets working in veterinary hospitals.
As it is evident from the data of the 30states only 10 states are giving NPA. The question arises why not every government is providing NPA? This malady is common across all the political parties ruling nonpaying states to shut their eyes to the demands of Veterinary Doctors as Veterinary doctors don’t form the chunk of the voters hence not a lucrative option for the parties to harness popular votes through appeasement policy. Ongoing Veterinary doctors stir in UP has proved the credible and crucial role of the Veterinary doctors in the Agriculture and Animal based economy. UP is incurring huge losses directly and indirectly because of the Veterinary doctor’s strike. It’s high time for the State Governments to start looking for the solutions to the basic demands of the Vets like NPA.
