Three days National Workshop (online) organized in Veterinary College Mhow

College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry Mhow, Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University organized 3 days workshop on "An Insight to Research Proposals, Statistical Techniques and Intellectual Property Rights" from 26 – 28 June 2020. The workshop was organized under the motivation of Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Dr Sita Prashad Tiwari and guidance of Dr R.P.S Baghel (Dean Faculty) and Dr Mukesh Mehta, Dean and convener of the workshop. The convenor addressed to the participants that it will help to increase their knowledge and efficiency on the aspects of making research proposals, analysis of research studies through statistical techniques and how to protect intellectual property. Dr Rakesh Sharda, Dr Vipin Kumar Gupta, Dr Vivek Agrawal and Dr Deepak Gangil were the coordinators of the workshop. In the first day Dr M.Sankar Senior Scientist IVRI, Izzatnagar, Bareilly shared his views and experiences on the aspect of research proposals, funding agencies and important points to be considered while preparing a research proposal.

In the second session, Dr L.D. Singla, Professor, GADVASU, Ludhiana elaborated the importance of intellectual property and procedure for its protection. Similarly in the third-day session, Dr Neeraj Kashyap, Assistant professor, GADVASU, Ludhiana provided hands-on training on the statistical tools and techniques in the research studies. There were more than 300 participants from different institutions of the country during the workshop. Dr Rakhi Gangil, Dr Atul Singh Parihar and Dr Jitendra Yadav were the co-coordinators of this workshop.
