GOI issues Advisory for common nomenclature in Vet Services- IVA welcomes the move

Government of India has issued the advisory with the common nomenclature for State Animal Husbandry Departments thereby ending the ambiguity which persisted for long among various States AH Departments. The move will not only harmonise the Veterinary Services but also improve the understanding and uniformity across the States. 

The advisory has requested the State/ UT administrations to develop the same organogram of Veterinary services for their State Animal Husbandry Departments as issued by the Central Government. 

The Indian Veterinary Association (IVA) has expressed its gratitude for the Central Government. In a letter written to the Secretary Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying, IVA President Dr Chirantan Kadian hailed the Advisory with common nomenclature and Organogram for State Animal Husbandry Departments of India. Dr Kadian said that the move by the Government has been welcomed by all Veterinarians and will boost their morale to dedicate their services in a much better way.
