GALVmed: x3 FIELD OFFICER POSITIONS:
ORISSA, JHARKHAND and CHHATTISGARH – INDIA 

GALVmed (Global Alliance for Livestock Veterinary Medicines) is a not-for-profit organisation whose mission is to develop livestock vaccines, medicines and diagnostics to benefit the poorest livestock keepers in the developing world. GALVmed is looking for x3 full-time experienced Field Officer Consultants for a 6-month period for market research in 3 specific areas - Orissa / Jharkhand / Chhattisgarh. 

Project Duration:
It is anticipated that the assignment will start early February 2017 and will be for a period of maximum 6 months (5 days per week, 8 hours per day). 

Location: depending on area of expertise, based in Orissa / Jharkhand / Chhattisgarh 

Consultancy Fees Fees will be INR 75,500 per month (including all taxes). All reasonable business travel and accommodation costs will be reimbursed. 

Are you interested...? If you have the following skills & qualifications... 

A minimum qualification of Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) OR a degree in Agriculture/Animal Husbandry with a minimum of 2 years agribusiness sales experience OR a Social Science graduate with data collection experience in the veterinary/livestock domain OR a graduate with minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the animal healthcare industry in the specific region (Orissa, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh) for the position being applied for. 

A strong understanding of the livestock sector 

Familiarity with one of the regional areas 

The ability to travel freely between project areas (extensive travel) 

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with retail shop ownders, smallholders, veterinary sales executives 

A strong understanding of "good" data collections
