Workshop on Handling and Care of Laboratory Animals

National Brain Research Center, Manesar Gururgram is organizing a workshop on the Handling and care of Laboratory animals. Four day workshop will be organized from 24^th October to 27^th October 2017. Workshop registration fee will be INR 5000 which will include course material and food. Registration will start from 1^st of August and close on 15^th of September. Maximum number of participants is fixed at 30 on first come first serve basis. Target group for the workshop are Scientists, involved with research on animals (PhD, MVSc, BVSc, M.Pharma, and MSc).

The objective of the workshop is to provide hands on training to improve quality of research conducted on animals. The major themes for workshop are Laboratory animals and their environment, Nutrition, diseases of laboratory animals, Lab animal’s welfare and ethics, Anesthesia and analgesia in lab animals, collection of body fluids and perioperative care.
