Union Animal Husbandry Minister Appreciated the "Gau Tech Expo 2023" Organized Under the Leadership of Dr Vallabhbhai Kathiria

"Gau Tech Expo 2023", a mega event organized by the Global Confederation of Cow-Based Industries (GCCI) started with morning prayer and a havan program. And then, the Manthan Pandal arranged for a series of there lectures on better use of cow dung and urine as per the schedule of the GCCI so that visitors could be made aware and sensitised to encourage cow protection by producing and selling the product to make the Gaushala self-reliant. "Gou Tech Expo 2023", was appreciated by Union Minister Shri Parshottam Rupala while inaugurating the GCCI Portal to provide a platform for selling the Goshala product to get a good price with the help of technical and moral support. Appreciating this event, Shri Rupala said that today, Gaushalas across the country are producing from medicines to hundreds of household items like incense sticks, shops, organic manure,bio-insecticides,bio-pesticides etc. As per our tradition, we consider the cow's dung-cow urine is a holy product and we are using during worship when any religious events are held this has now been proven scientifically virtuous, as stated by union animal husbandry Minister Shri Parshotam Rupala while releasing a GCCI Portal to provide a marketing platform for Gaushala workers to sale the products and generate the revenue for maintaining the homeless and rescued cows and its progeny. He said that Cow dung and cow urine are the only waste which has always been a unique alternative to cleanliness and purity for centuries. There is no such creature in the world that has such a speciality in waste to use disinfectant. The event was attended by several dignitaries of Gujarat like former Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani, ex-Governor of Karnataka Shri Vijubhai Vala and former minister, IFFCO Chairman Shri Dilipbhai Sanghani and pioneer water conservation activist of Jal Kranti Mission, Shri Bhupendra Singh Joda and eminent Sadhu -Santas, spiritual Guru were present on the occasion.
Before inaugurating the portal of GCCI by Union Minister Shri Parshottam Rupala, General Secretary of GCCI shri Purish Kumar was requested to introduce the purpose of the portal, he said that many types of goods are being made from cow dung and cow urine in cow shelters across the country, but the Gaushala operators do not know how to market their products and earn revenue from cow dung and urine. To solve this problem, GCCI decided to create a platform where it would be easy for them to get technology, manufacture, sell and get the right price at the right time. It is the endeavour of GCCI to provide a global platform for various types of products produced in Gaushala. He also said that detailed information is available on the Portal of GCCI and the Gaushala worker and the concerned person can go and register themselves on behalf of their institution. A separate counter has also been made to provide this facility at the Expo. He further told that this portal will work in the same way as Amazon, Flipkart or other marketing agencies are working. But there is a difference between them that GCCI will pay special attention to the Gaushala personal Kushal with their problems and support at each and every moment by keeping close coordination with them.
The program started with the singing of Gau Mahima by the Gau Sevika who came from Hyderabad and is engaged in Gaushala development awareness and sensitization program at the grassroots level. The main attraction of the program was the participation of Sadhu and Sant which has given a spiritual environment and linked to the cow protection. Overall the program turned out to be extremely inspiring. Shri Shri Parshottam Rupala Ji, as chief guest, told about the glory of the cow and said that today hundreds of items are being produced of cow dung, which is useful in everyday life. Not only medicines are being made from cow dung, but also household items like incense stick biopesticides, biopesticides, manure etc are being prepared from them. The system of cow rearing can be understood from the era of Lord Krishna where he gave the message of public welfare-Kalyan through cow rearing. Maintaining the same tradition, cow dung is the most sacred product of India and is used in worship during religious functions. This thing has been proved by the scientific community and getting Global popularity.
"Gau Tech 2023" organized by GCCI Dr Vallabhbhai Kathiria, former Union Minister, Exchairman of Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog and patron of GCCI, said that today a lot of work is being done in Gaushalas. It is very important for them to be self-reliant for cow protection. Cows are our real asset to fulfil all our dreams of life by providing livelihood and revenues. Today, many Gaushala institutions are working as a model to make the institution self-reliant by providing making avenues. But they do not have any platform to sell and earn the money. GCCI is committed to this purpose. Referring to the use of fertilizers in the past, he was told that a subsidy of about 144 crores has been saved in the country by the use of organic manure made from cow dung and urine. Today, the use of cow dung and urine has also given birth to a new technology which has made this work easier. To promote this, there are many schemes in all the Ministries under the Central Government, which people do not know and therefore, GCCI has also taken the responsibility to create Marketplace.
Former Governor of Karnataka, Shri Vijubhai Vala Walo, among the distinguished persons present in the programme, said that cow protection is not only related to the identity of the country but is also related to nourishing humans, all living creatures including erth, maintaining and protecting nature is a major role of there cows. Strict action should be taken against those who obstruct cow protection activities. That's why it is necessary to ban cow slaughter in the country. Former Chief Minister of Gujarat Mr Vijaybhai Rupani praised the effort of Dr Vallabhbhai Kathiria while addressing the "Cow Tech Expo 2023", he said that Dr Kathiria is walking on the path of Aatmnirbhar Bharat by following the vision of Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi Ji. In the program, IFFCO Chairman Shri Dilip Bhai Sanghani spoke about promoting the use of cow dung and urine to maintain the fertility of the soil, while Shri Bhupendra Singh Juda, an eminent water conservation activist stated that the cow is base of livelihood and nature to be protected. Several eminent Sadhu and Sant were present on this occasion and also extolled the glory of the cow and its progenies emphasising protecting cows and developing more and more Gaushala in the country.
The first day was full of enthusiasm and when talking to some of the dedicated workers for the event, first of all, Shri Raju Dhruv, media in-charge of Gujarat State BJP/HOD GCCI media team arranged all the media coordination well. On the occasion, he recalled the efforts done during there several campaigns held under the guidance of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi when he was dreaming of the Aatmnirbhar Bharat dream and then become CM of Gujarat and the dream has come true. Describing the cow protection campaign as the mother and calling Kamdhenu to full fill all the desire to be respected and maintained in a proper way, is the favourite subject of the Prime Minister. He also remembered the way of thinking and working to deal with the suffering and distress of the common man. And said that the cow is a symbol of prosperity and identity treated as a member of the family. Today, there is a great need to connect cows to be healthy and wealthy, particularly to be self-reliant in all Gaushala institutions. A senior officer of GCCI Shri Amitabh Bhatnagar stated about connecting with Gaushala Abhiyan is utmost urgent. Dr KP Singh Bhadauria Kau protection activist and a Gaushala Expert said that this Cow Protection and Goshala development campaign of the GCCI highest to be supported and encouraged by the government of India because Gaushalas operators across the country have a lot of faith in the central government.
The convening and anchoring of the program by Shri Mittal Khetani, Co-opted Member of the Animal Welfare Board of India and Advisor to the Union Ministry of Animal Husbandry was wonderful and he connected the dignitaries and audience in a stunning way. The first day of the expo concluded with a cultural program presented by the most popular artists of Gujarati Song and Dance and visitors enjoyed the program.
