Dr Inderjeet Singh elected as the President of ISBD

Dr Inderjeet Singh, Vice-Chancellor Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Science University, is elected as the President of the Indian Society for Buffalo Development (ISBD). ISBD is organising a two day National Symposium at GADVASU Ludhiana. Scientists from all over the country are participating in the Symposium. 

At the GBM the elections were conducted to elect the new executive committee and Dr Inderjeet Singh was elected as the President of ISBD. Dr Inderjeet will take the charge of the President from Dr SS Dahiya. 

Dr Suresh Honappagol, former Animal Husbandry Commissioner GOI & VC Vet Karnataka University, is elected as the Vice President ISBD, Dr SS Ghuman, Dean Vet College GADVASU is elected as the Secretary ISBD. Dr D Kumar would be the new Treasurer ISBD.

The outgoing President in his congratulatory note thanked all the members of the Executive Committee and the Life members ISBD for their continued support during his tenure as the President ISBD. He also congratulated the new executive committee and put across his faith in the able leadership of Dr Inderjeet Singh to carry forward the good work of ISBD.

Yesterday in his speech Dr Inderjeet Singh talked about the contribution of the Animal Husbandry in the Indian Economy and the importance of Buffalo development which is incidentally also the current theme of the ongoing symposium.

Pashu Sandesh congratulates Dr Inderjeet Singh on his election as the President of ISBD. Popularly also known as the “ Murrah Man” of India a lot of expectations would be weighted on the able shoulders of Dr Inderjeet Singh for the recognition the humble Buffalo need from the Nation.
