Counselling has finally started for the 15% All India quota seats for admissions in BVSc courses after being deferred on many occasions due to technical reasons as cited by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI).
As per the schedule of the counselling, Only the candidates who have registered for online counselling shall be eligible for allotment of seats under All India quota. Online Registration and Choice Filling/Choice Locking can be done by the eligible candidate from 17th July 2019 to 22nd July 2019 up to 5.00 PM. Publication of Result of Allotment would be available on the VCI website on 26th July 2019 (6.00PM). Reporting by students at the Allotted College is scheduled from 29th July 2019 to 2nd August 2019 (Up to 5.00PM).
For the still vacant remaining seats, 2nd round of counselling will begin from 6th August and completed by 19th August. Counselling would finally conclude on 16th September with the Mop-up round.
The allocation of the seat to the candidates for admission to BVSc & AH degree course under 15% seats on All India basis shall be applicable only to the recognized Veterinary Colleges [Government and Private) in India (except from and to Jammu & Kashmir State). The fees for private veterinary college will be as decided by the State Government/University concerned/College for which this Council shall not be responsible. Hence, candidates are advised to confirm the details about the fees and other charges before filling up the choices at the private Veterinary Colleges. The Veterinary Council of India does not have any role for deciding the fee structure of the private Veterinary College in any State.
The seats once allocated shall be final and there shall not be any re-allocation of the seat. The candidate once allocated a seat shall not be considered for any other phase of counselling.
