MP CM Kamal Nath inaugurates Online Donation Portal

People donating for Cow-Protection and Cow Conservation to get benefit in Income Tax

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath inaugurated the ‘Online Donation Portal’ at Mantralaya on 11 October. The portal has been launched to seek cooperation from the common man for cow protection and cow conservation. Any person or commercial establishment can donate cow through this portal www.gopalanboard.mp.gov.in Donors will get the benefit under section 80 G of the Income-tax.

Kamal Nath said that the portal should be publicized widely so that people in maximum number become participants in cow protection and their nurturing. The citizens and establishments linked with trade and industry could donate for fodder, shed, water and other arrangements for cows.

The Minister for Animal Husbandry Lakhan Singh Yadav, Minister for Urban Development and Housing Jaivardhan Singh, Chief Secretary S.R. Mohanty, Additional Chief Secretary Forest A.P. Shrivastava, Additional Chief Secretary Panchayat and Rural Development Gouri Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Animal Husbandry Manoj Shrivastava, Additional Chief Secretary Finance Anurag Jain and Commissioner Urban Development P. Narhari were present at the meeting.
