VCI declares schedule for Admissions on 15% all India quota of seats for BVSc and AH courses

The Veterinary Council of India allocates candidates for B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree course programme against the 15% of the total number of seats of each recognized veterinary college on all India basis through Common Entrance Examination as per the provisions of Regulation 7(8) of VCI - Minimum Standards of Veterinary Education - Degree Course (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) Regulations, 2016.

During the academic session 2018-19, it has been decided to use the Merit list of NEET (UG) 2018 for allocation of seats under 15% All India quota.

The whole process of allocation of seats shall be made online and the students are not required to upload any documents during the process. However, the documents shall be verified by the allocated College at the time of admission. Candidates desirous of admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree course programme under the aforesaid quota and who have successfully qualified in the NEET (UG) 2018 are eligible for registration for counselling by Veterinary Council of India. Further, provided that the candidates have also to fulfil the eligibility criteria as per MSVE Regulations, 2016.

The Online Registration of the candidates will commence from 16^th August, 2018 to 23rd August, 2018. The processing of application and allocation of seats shall commence on 27^th August, 2018.Issuance of allocation letter to the candidates and the allotted Veterinary Colleges shall be done on 29^th August, 2018 for First Round and on 10^th September, 2018 for Second Round.

The candidates are to report to the allotted Colleges as per Schedule time given in the Public Notice 13.8.2018.Detailed information on counselling for admission is available on the Council’s and department’s website (www.aipvt.vci.nic.in) & (www.dahd.nic.in.)
