First of a kind six-month certification course for Bird lovers

College of Veterinary Science & AH, Navsari Gujarat has started a First of its kind six-month certification course for Bird lovers. The course is started in collaboration with the NGO Beauty without Brutality.

The course held from August 2017 to December 2017 in which 15 participants participated. Out of 15, 14 participants have successfully completed the course. Successful participants were given certificates at a valedictory function organized on 6^th January 2018 at the Veterinary College. The function was graced by Dr. Dangaria and the president of NGO Beauty without Brutality Vishalaben Kantawala. Everyone praised the efforts of Course Director Dr. AA Vagh and course coordinators Dr. GM Pandya, Dr. Adil Kaziand Dr. JM Patel.

The aim of the certification course is to train participants in the basic management of birds including first aid. Participants also learned about the species of Birds and the challenges faced by the birds. Certificate course also aims at addressing the injuries occurring to Birds during the kite festival on the occasion of Makarshankranti in Gujarat.
